National Youth Parliament Meeting, Denizli, 3-5 April 2009

The coordination meeting of National Youth Parliament took place with the contribution of Youth  Assembly of Denizli City Council on 3-5 April 2009 in Pamukkale.
66 young people from 44 different cities participated to the  meeting which was a preparatory meeting for V. General Meeting of National Youth Parliament that is going to be managed  between 16-20 May 2009. The city representatives who arrived in Denizli at early hours in the morning on 3 April Friday attented to Youth Assembly of Denizli City Council General meeting and then to the opening ceremony of Denizli Habitat IT Academy.
After dinner and the introduction meeting General Secretary of Youth for Habitat Association Başak Saral made the presentation of the web portal , www.ulusalgenclikparlamentosu.net.
After the second day’s  opening speech, NYP Education and Coordination team members made the presentation of their activities on One Youth Representative to each Assembly  campaign which has been implemented and supported since  September.  After the speeches, several workshops took place until the late hours in the evening. These were:
1. Local Government Cooperations after the Local Elections, City Councils and Strategies upon Youth Assemblies.
2. System of Institutionalization and Delegation of NYP.
3. Social Gender Equality and NYP.
4. 19 May 2009 V. General Board Programme of NYP.

On the last day of meeting, sessions were started with the assessment and approval of application forms of the Best Youth Assembly. The meeting has ended by shaping the outputs of workshops in light of the gained contributions.
