Youth For Habitat and Teknosa coperation, 7 May 2009

During 2008, Youth Association for Habitat has developed a partnership with TEKNOSA, one of the IT supplier companies in Turkey, within the framework of Technology for Women Project of Teknosa and with this cooperation volunteer trainers of Empowerment of Youth for E-Transformation in Turkey Project organized basic computer usage trainings for women in Kars, Samsun, Afyon, Trabzon and Diyarbakır.

Starting from April 2009, a new partnership agreement within Technology for Woman Project was signed between YfH and Teknosa. In this new period, one laptop will be donated by Teknosa to the Local Youth Council who has supported Technology for Woman Project through the Empowerment of Youth for E-Transformation in Turkey Project.

For the campaign that started in May 2009, each month the selected local youth council will be awarded with one laptop for organizing trainings for women.
