IT Ambassadors came together in Istanbul, 5-6 July 2009

Local Advocators of 'Bridging Digital Divide', came together in Istanbul in 5-6 July 2009 for the most comprehensive project whose aims are determined by United Nations in 2000 and which is promotional element for the computer literacy rate, supportive to the conversion of Turkey to knowledge society, is carrying out by Youth Association For Habitat, Turkish Vodafone Foundation and United Nations Development Programme.

For to make widespread and activate “Bridging Digital Divide” Project in 50 province ambassador will be the voice of their province from which they are responsible.

Within this framework, mouthpieces of the project were informed comprehensively about 'Bridging Digital Divide' by Youth Association for Habitat in 5 July 2009. Addition to this, they were informed about e-learn portal in www.bilgitoplumu.net by Eray Karakullukcu from Netron IT Academy.

In 6 july 2009, advocators of the project meet Bulent Tekmen (Head Manager) from Netron IT Academy, Hakan Ileri ( Head Manager)  from ECDL Turkey and Funda Adiguzel (Marketing Expert) and they were informed about the support that they gave to the project. In the same day, Eren İnançer
from Zarakol trained about local presentation strategy which included communication techniques to the Ambassadors. At the end of the day, advocators of the project and team of the project of Youth Association for Habitat prepared the work plans that they will apply in the next period.
