Habitat IT Academies were established in partnership of Youth for Habitat, UNDP and Microsoft Turkey with support of Istanbul Governorship in Istanbul, Etimesgut Municipality in Ankara, Yalova Municipality in Yalova, Rize Governorship in Rize, Konak Municipality in Izmir, Tatvan Municipality in Bitlis, Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality in Kocaeli, Trabzon Municipality in Trabzon, Diyarbakır Municipality in Diyarbakır.

With these Academies that established in cooperation with local administrations, trainings are given about leadership, project cycle, presentation technique, and youth rights, basic computer and network setup etc. target group of this trainings is young people, representatives of non governmental organization and public workers. 

As Youth for Habitat, we aim to facilitate participation of young people to decision making with developing their occasion of access to information and to develop young people’s capacities with non official personal development trainings and social official trainings.
